Mentors Research Scholar Award Program
The Mentors Research Scholar Award program honors AGA members who have made significant contributions to gastroenterology through their mentoring activities, and, at the same time, raises funds in support of the AGA Foundation's Research Scholar Awards (RSAs).
On May 20, 2007, a distinguished group of AGA mentors were honored for their exemplary contributions to gastroenterology through mentoring. An endowed Research Scholar Award was established in their names and will be presented once every three years in perpetuity to an outstanding young digestive disease researcher.
